We invite your organization’s security team to join us for the annual Safety and Security Preparedness Program for Jewish community synagogues, agencies, and institutions on Thursday, September 12, 2024, 10:00 AM–12:30 PM at Jewish Federation of NENY, Community Service Building, 184 Washington Avenue Ext, Albany, NY 12203. 

This security program will include FBI Albany Division Special Agents, New York State Police Counter Terrorism Investigators, New York’s Greater Hudson Valley Community Security Initiative Director, and the TACT (Threat Assessment Coordination Team) of Albany County, as well as special information from the Department of Homeland Security and the Secure Community Network (SCN)—the national homeland security initiative of the Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.

This special program brings together local law enforcement and our community to discuss recent events, provide materials and information to help us update our security in our institutions, and address security-related concerns in effort to enhance security awareness as we prepare for the High Holidays that begin October 2.
