Camperships & Scholarships

Federation is pleased to announce the availability of Academic Scholarships based on merit and/or financial need, and financial-need-based scholarships for enriched Jewish experiences. Please apply before the February 23, 2024, deadline.

Jewish Experiential Funds

Research shows that Jewish camps and personal Israel experiences early in life remain highly effective vehicles for developing engaged Jews.

Each year, Jewish Federation provides financial assistance to local community members who would not otherwise be able to participate in programs that have cost barriers like summer camp and Israel travel experiences.

Please note that many camps also provide substantial support. All first-time campers (and their parents) are encouraged to look at Foundation for Jewish Camp and pay special attention to the Bunk Connect and One Happy Camper programs.

For further information, please contact Rebecca Miller, (518) 783-7800 ext. 225 or rmiller@jewishfedny.org.
