As part of a social justice series, SJCF presents a Zoom discussion of an American biographical legal drama starring Chadwick Boseman as Thurgood Marshall, the first African American Supreme Court Justice focusing on one of the first cases of his career. Marshall, an NAACP lawyer in 1941 traveling the country defending people of color who are wrongly accused of crimes because of racial prejudice, is sent to Bridgeport, CT, to defend a black chauffeur accused of rape by his white employer.
