As we approach the one-year anniversary of October 7, join us for a conversation with Tomer Zak and Dan Elbaum as they reflect on personal accounts of the unprecedented attack on Israel and the impact of our global Jewish community’s response.

Tomer Zak is a 23-year-old member of Kibbutz Kissufim. She has served in the Israel Defense Force and following October 7th, she insisted on returning to serve in the IDF. Tomer lost her mother, father, and youngest brother in the terrorist attacks. She is now dedicating her life to shining a light on the memory of her beautiful family.

Dan Elbaum is the head of North America for the Jewish Agency and CEO and president of the Jewish Agency International Development. In this role, he leads and oversees all aspects of the historic organization’s North American operations.

Elbaum has appeared in media outlets from around the world and meets regularly with senior American and Israeli public officials and leaders to advance the goal of deepening the connection between the United States and Israel.
