The Schenectady JCC is hosting a used clothing sale on Sunday, Aug. 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Schenectady JCC’s Golub auditorium located at 2565 Balltown Road. Proceeds from this event will go directly to building a new pavilion near the playground in time for summer 2025 as part of a challenge grant the Schenectady JCC has received from Harold Grinspoon JCAMP 180, which will provide the Schenectady JCC with $25,000 in funding for this project if it raises $50,000.

Event attendees will be able to shop for gently used and new clothing and shoes, in both children’s and adult sizes, bags, purses, luggage, and bedding.

Early bird admission to the clothing sale starts at 8:30 a.m., and there is a $5 entry fee. The bag sale will run from 12 to 1 p.m. Bags are $8 each or two for $15.

Have items you are looking to donate to the sale? Drop-off days will be Thursday, Aug. 15, from 3 to 7 p.m. and Friday, Aug. 16, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. No undergarments, please.
