Ivan Vamos was born in March 1938 in Budapest, Hungary, nearly on the same day that Hitler's troops marched (unopposed) to take over Austria. The Vamos family assumed that their long-established status in the community would keep them safe; but that was not to be.

Hear more about Ivan's story of escape and survival on Tuesday, April 4th. Attendees will have the opportunity to view Ivan's pictures and documents and ask questions.
